Well the deer season is winding down and the last of the hunters have gone home happy with their trophy bucks. Here's the Bergners with a couple of nice bucks to show for Kyle's long days spent in the bush.
A couple of trail cam pictures part way through the hunt just to let them know the big boys are out there.

Fall Muskie fishing on Eagle Lake at Fin and Feather was just how it looks.....Awesome!!! ...and a little cool, apparently its better this way, crazy buggers. Typical serious Muskie guys, they don't want perfect weather, just perfect fish. Everyone went home happy, the fish to bite another day and the guys to fish another day......next time, let the old fella catch one.

Fall Muskie Fishing

Hello Everyone. Sorry it's been so long since our last post. We've been pretty busy, which is a good thing and we should start winding down soon so we can start to shut down the cabins. Just in time for the deer hunters to arrive I would imagine. Well we have had a lot of great visits since we last posted. Here are a few pictures that our guests have shared with us.
Andy and his Brother Matt had a few great days on the lake. Andy is pictured above with our Guide Lorne and below is his brother Matt with a nice Walleye of his own.
Paul and Adam shared a great father son trip. Paul is pictured below with a nice Northern.
Paul and Adam with nice Muskie that they brought in together with a joint effort.

Fall Fishing
Great news. It looks like the Monacy Group had so much fun some of them are coming back for trip two in the same year. As most of you already know, the Muskie and Bass fishing is awsome in the fall. Because we are open year round we can accomodate late Fall Fishing or a Cast and Blast trip with or without guides. Last year we had some beautiful weather late into October and it looks as though we might be getting the same weather this year. The picture shown above was taken in the beginning of November last fall and all four fish were caught at the same time.

It's a Big'in
Yesterday afternoon Richard Baas caught this 55" Muskie. Because of poor weather conditions Richard and the guys decided to not venture too far out on the open water and landed this beauty only 2 1/2 Miles from the Dock. One of the great advantages of being on the river is that no matter what the weather is like you can always get in a day of great fishing. Contratulations Richard.
